At the Manor

Daniel smiled at Bree before turning back to Yukiko. "Don't lie, you seem upset. What happened?" he looked her face over quickly with a frown.

Shellie had woken up again but had not moved from where she was "I warned you, it's not like you didn't see it coming. Maybe next time you'll head a warning."

Amu just glared at him. She heard Shellie, and ignored her. She didn't want to hear that right now.

She glanced at Tina, deciding to talk to her later, when Marcus actually /was/ asleep. She wanted to....know /more/. She wanted to /try/ to understand.

She stood up, but didn't leave.

Yukiko just shook her head.

"It's nothing," She repeated quietly. Bree had run over to her and took her hand, earning a soft smile from Yukiko.

Marcus closed his eyes agai, thinking.

Tina smiled at Amu.

Mark smiled at Daniel and stopped running when Bree was next to Yukiko.

Yumi came out of her room and went downstairs into the kitchen. She got something to drink and looked out the window again.

Daniel frowned but dropped it quickly. He walked inside and up the stairs taking two steps at a time. He ran to his room and shut the door behind him. He laid on his bed and shut his eyes.

Amu remained silent, biting her lip nervously. She didn't want to be the one to break the silence. Being in the same room with Marcus was killing her, and she wanted to talk to Tina /now/, but kenw she couldn't.

Yukiko looked at Daniel as he went inside, then turned her attention back to Bree. But Bree was already running off again, after having tagged Mark and yelling "You're it!"

Mark laughed and chased after her again.

Yumi sat down at the table and looked at her glass of water,she traced her finger around the top of the glass out of boredom.

"If marcus is staying, at the very least for the day, were is he to sleep?" Tina asked. "That chair doesn't look very nice to sleep in."

Amu glanced at Tina when she spoke.

"We have extra rooms," She said. The thought of them staying in the same one hadn't even crossed her mind.

Yukiko sighed and walked inside. She looked at Yumi and walked over to her, sitting down next to her without a word.

Bree continued to run, her energy level still high, maybe even full.

"Hmm, Okay." Tina said

"Good, I'm tried, Mind showing me the way?" Marcus asked opening his eyes.

Amu just nodded, not even speaking to him.

"Come on," She said, her voice controlled. She turned and began to walk up the stairs, not even checking to see if he was following her or not.

Marcus followed quietly. Tina taged along, but stopped short and went to her own room.

Amu stopped at a room at the end of the hall. She opened it, revealing a room with a simple bed and closet.

"It should do for now. If you do decide to stay, you I can find you a better one," She said simply. Then she turned and left without another word to him, toward's Tina's room, intending to finish their conversation from earlier. She walked to her door and knocked quietly.

Marcus walked in and sat on the bed.

Tina opened the door smileing. "Hi, Amu!"

Amu smiled back, though it looked kind of forced.

"Hello, Tina," she said. "May I come in?"

She opened the door wide and sat o the bed. SHe kept her smile on her face. "I was about to go to bed." She said.

Marcus layed back on the bed, but he couldn't sleep.

"Oh," Amu said. "I can come back later, if you want?" She asked, lingering by the door.

"No, It's fine." Tina said. "I'm not tried, I just was gonna go to bed because I was bored." Tina said, her smile not fading.

"Oh," Amu said. That was all she could think of to say. She finally stepped in, closing the door behind her carefully. Then she turned to Tina, biting her lip nervously and trying to think of what to say.

"Is something wrong?" Tina asked.

Yumi looked at Yukiko when she sat don but didn't say anything and kept tracing the top of the glas with her finger.

"No, it's just---" She sighed. "Tina, is there anything else you can tell me about Marcus? Anything that /might/ make me understand him, just a little bit?" She was at a loss here.

Yukiko didn't say anything either, enjoying the silence.

"No, I don't." Tina said. "Because I can't explain it."

Amu sighed.

"Not even a little bit?" She pressed.

"Not that could help, it's better to see it with your own eyes." She said.
