At the Manor

Skylar jumped off the roof of the house and ran over to the girls "You okay?" he asked worried

"Good" Shellie said as she finished cutting the bread. She picked up a piece and turned back around to lean on the counter. "I never understood why when I became immortal this food suddenly tastes vile." she thought out loud before she took a bite of it. She swallowed, set the bread down and sighed "Can I get you anything?" she asked

Amu smiled and nodded, letting go of Tina's hand and looking at Skylar.

"We're fine," She said quickly.

Lacey smiled. "No, I was just going to get a glass of water." She said. "But I do want to hear more about this town." She said.

Tina nodded. "I'm fine."

"What would you like to know?" Shellie asked with a smile.

"Good" Skylar said relieved

Amu smiled, and looked back and forth between the two of them, unsure of what to do now. She was glad for the distraction from Marcus, however brief it had been.

"Anything, everthing." Lacy said smileing.

Tina smiled, and nodded. "I'm sorry if I worried you and Amu." She said.

Marcus walked down the stairs, whicth was rare, he normarlly staied in his room.

"As long as you are okay then I'll be fine" Skylar told her.

Shellie smiled before going into detail about the town's history and why it's now inhabited by immortals. She finished with it's most recent stories.

"Wow, that's intersing." Lacey said, smileing.

"I found quite dull." Marcus said, he was standing in the doorway, looking bored. He had over heard the story.

Amu nodded. She looked at Tina, smiling lightly. All her troubles and stress over Marcus just seemed to go away when she was with her. It was strange, yet nice. She cared for Tina, more than she had even cared for her real younger sister, Maiya, mean as that may have sounded. Your love for a sister kind of went down when she tried to kill you. She remembered how she told her she'd be back. How long ago had that been? She frowned slightly. Yeah, that was just what she needed. As if the stress from Marcus' arrival wasn't bad enough.

"To each his own" Shellie said, not even acknowledging his rudeness.

"And we find you dull but we don't complain" Jason said as he stood behind him, he had only heard the last bit and didn't like he had said something to Shellie like that.

"Jason, please" Shellie said quickly.

Jason didn't even look at her but instead glared at Marcus.

Skylar smiled at them both. "What now?" he asked.

Lacey was frowning. "I don't understand; why are you here if you hate it so much?" She asked.

Marcus, not even careing about what Jason said truned and left without anwsering Lacey. A few moments later he was standing in the doorway, wacthing Amu, Tina, and Skyler, mostly Tina.

Tina didn' notice him, but instead smiled at Amu. "What are yu thinking about?"

Shellie sighed slightly and put a hand to her temple, "I really wish he wouldn't be that way." She mumbled.

"I know, he is so rude." Jason said walking over to her and trying to kiss her.

"Not him. You" Shellie said as she quickly stopped him from getting any closer to her with a firm hand on his chest.

"What?" He asked as he backed off.

"We'll talk later, just go." She told him but he didn't move "Now." she said and he quickly walked out of the kitchen and out the front door. "Sorry, Lacey." Shellie said quickly

Lacey smiled. "No, it's fine." She said with a smile.

"Anything else you need?" Shellie asked as returning to her prior state of happiness.

"No." Lacey said. "But is there anything you need me to do for you tomorrow?"

"None I can think of, thank you for offering." Shellie said with a smile.

"Nothing," Amu said quickly, smiling at Tina. She was about to answer Skylar when she felt eyes watching her from the house. She turned slightly, and saw Marcus. She rolled her eyes and turned to the woods.

"I'm going for a walk," She mumbled.

Skylar turned around and looked at Marcus for half a second before turning to Amu. "You okay?" he asked her, his voice full of concern and his frow was creased.

"I'm fine. I just need some air," Amu assured him, before taking off into the woods without another word. She ran and ran until she was almost out of breathe, then stopped and looked around, brushing her windblown hair out of her eyes.

Skylar watched her go silently. He sighed before walking back inside.

Yukiko was on her way to Blood Manor. Rayne and Lucien were gone; they didn't know where they were, but they were gone. Bree was depressed and sitting back at Lycan Manor. Yukiko hadn't let her come, no matter how much she had begged. She knew Marcus was staying there now, and didn't trust him still. So she had made her stay.

She ran towards the front door, changing back into her human form as she approached. She knocked, slightly out of breathe, her face laced with worry. She hoped they weren't out hunting; she needed to talk to them, at least one of them, now.

Amu started walking slowly, her hands shoved into her jeans pockets. She sighed lightly, and looked around. She was deep in the woods now.

As Shellie heard the knock she stopped exploring the minds in the manor and focused on that if the knocker. "Skylar!" she shouted as she ran from the kitchen. Skylar, who had been walking up the steps, joined her in seconds

"What's wrong?" he asked.

"Trouble at Lycan Manor." she responded before she opened the door and looked at Yukiko. "What happened?" she asked, her own thoughts too scrambled to find out mentally.

Yukiko was slightly out of breathe, and she shook her head.

"She's gone," She breathed. "Both of them. Rayne and Lucien." She finally managed to catch her breathe. Her face was laced with worry.

Shellie gasped and looked at Skylar, "This is terrible." she whispered. Just as she finished she picked up on someone's thoughts "Jake!!!" she ran past Yukiko and into the woods after a wolf had run in it. She slowed down as he got further and further away. She ran back to the house and looked at Yukiko and Skylar seriously "And now we have bigger problems." She said, her head starting to hurt. Skylar looked at her strangely but did not push her for the answer.

"Do you want me to go after him?" Yukiko asked, unsure of what to do. She had tears in her eyes, but quicky wiped them away with the back of her hand. She looked at Shellie, waiting for her response.

Amu took off running again, farther and farther away from the Manor.
