At the Manor

Shellie turned to Tina as well and smiled lightly. She motioned for the boys to go back inside, all but one did. Jason still stood there, watching the trees. "Jason, I'm fine. Go inside" Shellie said. Jason sighed and walked inside quickly. Shellie shut her eyes in thought and then looked at Tina again "We should go inside as well" she said slowly

Tina smiled and nodded at Amu, she did the same for Shellie.

Amu couldn't resist; she hugged Tina quickly before standing back up and half-smiling at Shellie, nodding.

"Yes, let's," She said quietly.

"I'm happy you are staying, I'm sorry he wouldn't though" Shellie said, she was sorry that Tina was being separated from her mate, Shellie disliked being separated from Jason for long periods of time. She began to walk inside slowly, she watched Jason as he stood by the door.

Skylar joined Jason, he was waiting for Amu to come in though.

Jacob and Daniel were in the kitchen, in their human forms, as the scoffed down the food Shellie had made while stressed "Can you be stressed more often?!" Jacob shouted

"You cook wonderfully while you are stressed!" Daniel shouted

"As compared to?" Shellie questioned, she was talking to herself though as she smiled

Lacey was also in the kicten, eatting random sweets. She staied in the coner away from everyone.

Tina walked in after Shellie, but she went into the liveing room, she was humming a sad tune.

Amu walked in last, closing the door behind her. She sighed. She was glad to be back, but the mood was different now somehow. Sadder.

Of course it would be...what was she expecting? With another small sigh she walked into the living room after Tina and sat down on the couch. She still wondered why she had chosen to stay here. She wouldn't of blamed her if she wanted to go with Marcus. In fact, she had expected it.

Shellie sighed and didn't even look at Jason. She sat on the other side of Tina and sighed "I'm sorry" was all she said

Jason and Skylar watched the girls for a second but then walked up the stairs.

"It's okay, I wanted to stay because I like people, and I know he'll be back." Tina said with a smile.

Amu just nodded. When she saw Skylar walk upstairs she bit her lip and sighed, standing up. She wanted to talk to him.

"Excuse me," She mumbled to the two, before turning and walking quickly up the stairs. She knocked on his door before standing back, her hands behind her back.

Skylar got off of his bed and walked to the door "Oh, hey Amu! What's up?" he asked her kindly, he held the door open wide enough for her to walk in.

"I'm sure he will too" Shellie said with a smile, in essence that was the reason he was back now and even though he didn't let it show it hurt him that Tina stayed she knew it had. She leaned her head back against the couch and shut her eyes

Amu smiled slightly and walked in, unclasping her hands and placing them at her sides. She hadn't really had much of a chance to talk to him lately.

"Nothing, really," She said quietly. She glanced around quickly then loooked at him. "This whole thing.....I don't know how much more of this I can take," She said suddenly, dampening the light mood.

Lacey began to do the dishes she had made when eatting. When she was done she walked in the liveing room. "I think I'm going to bed." Lacey said, before she truned around and walked up the stairs.

Tina played with the hem of her dress, not sure what to do.

Skylar frowned "I still don't know the deal so I can't really say anything. Shellie is hiding things from me. Marcus and Tina are mates right? That is all I really know" he told her

Amu just nodded.

"Well, I just spent the whole day trapped in a small house with him and Lorelai," She admitted, grinning sheepishly at him. "And I don't---" She sighed, pausing. "I don't want Marcus to hurt her," She finally said.

"Lorelai is back? Jeez... Does she know that?" He asked "Never mind, she does now" he mumbled "We won't let Marcus hurt her, okay? I won't let Marcus hurt her" he told her with a small smile

Shellie opened one eye when she heard Lorelai, she checked her range quickly before closing her eye and trying to sleep again. She didn't have to worry until she had slept a few hours and could function normally

Amu tried to smile back at him, but found she couldn't. Not a real smile, anyways. Instead she glanced down at the ground, clasping her hands together behind her back again, rocking back and forth on the balls of her feet, nervously.

Skylar looked at her "Is there something else?" she asked her, wondering why she seemed nervous. "Is there something you aren't telling me?" he watched her rock back and forth.

"No," Amu said quickly. "I'm just....worried," She sighed again. "I don't trust him at all...." She trailed off at the end, unclasping her hands and looking over at him

"But Tina does, essentially we should trust Jason either. He was hired to torture and eventually aid in killing Shellie but look at where he is, he is lying in her bed. We have to trust that for Tina's sake he will respect the coven's rules" Skylar told her quickly.

Shellie got up off the couch and walked up stairs to her room, she found Jason already sleeping there. She smiled and climbed in next to him, seeing her head on his shoulder. He smiled at her and wrapped and arm around her.

Amu knew he was right, but refused to admit it. Instead, she said

"But look at what he's done so far! Tried to kill /me/, but only ended up hurting Tina. Hurt Tina /again/, along with many others with his voice, and so much more....." She trailed off again.

Skylar frowned "Think about who else Jason help Lorelai hurt before he fell for Shellie. Shellie wasn't his first job. People make mistakes and they pay for them in the end. I'm sure he regrets making her ears bleed and I'm sure that after he sees how Tina looks up to you he will regret trying to kill the closest thing she has to a sister" he tried to get her to see the bigger point to it

Amu bit her lip, and nodded.

"I guess you're right," She finally admitted. She looked up at him. "Sorry for bothering you about this," She muttered.

"It's no problem, I enjoy talking to you" Skylar told her with a smile. He walked over to her and rubbed her cheek lightly with his thumb and kissed her forehead "I'm more that happy to help you, you should always know that"

Shellie soon fell asleep but because Jason had slept that day he just watched her breathing steadily.

Amu smiled slightly when he kissed her forehead and spoke. She nodded.

"Thank you," She said quietly. She was exhausted, and rubbed her tired eyes. She knew she needed sleep, but also knew she wouldn't be able to get it after all that had happened.

"You really should sleep" Skylar told her, "I'd ask Shellie to help but she is probably already sleeping with all she did today" he had seen the cooking and watched the pacing, all of which made him chuckle. "I'll stay with you if you want" he offered kindly
