At the Manor

"Fine" She said before taking off. As soon as she reached the trees she jumped into them, her pace was faster than it usually was. Worry was evident all over her body as she jumped from tree to tree.

Lorelai was quickly gaining on Jason, in fact she was right behind him. She tackled him to the ground and the two struggled.

Amu turned invisible and qucikly ran after her, keeping to the ground. She jumped over a fallen log and a few tree stumps, picking up the pace and running next to Shellie where she was in the trees, listening to the struggle that was going on nearby.

Shellie growled slightly as the struggle continued. She jumped out of the trees and when she was close and landed behind Lorelai, ripping her off of Jason and throwing her away. She quickly helped Jason up and kissed his cheek. "I'm sorry" she told him quickly. Lorelai stood back up and lunged again

Amu saw Lorelai going after them again, and came at her from behind, still invisible, tacklilng her to the ground. She pinned her shoulder's down, struggling to keep her on the ground.

"You again" Lorelai muttered as she attempted to fight Amu off.

Jason watched Lorelai struggle against something he couldn't see, he looked at Shellie "Amu" she told him quickly. She turned and made a connection between she and Amu Need help? she questioned.

Amu heard Shellie and shook her head, then realized she couldn't see her.

'No,' she thought. Her anger at Lorelai from before was rising in her chest again, and she pinned her shoulders to the ground harder, reaching a hand back and pucnhing her hard.

"Don't...mess....with my family!" She shouted. It was true; she thought of her friends as family now, and she would never let anyone hurt them, not if she had something to say about it.

"Technically she is mine too" Lorelai shouted. She kicked Amu, hoping to knock her off.

Amu was knocked back, landing on her back on the ground, the breath knocked out of her. She was visible again from the impact, struggling to suck in a breath.

Shellie attempted to run to Amu but Jason held her back. She struggled to get from his grip as she watched Lorelai walk over to Amu. "So defenseless now" Lorelai chuckled as she knelt down next to her carefully.

Amu's eyes were wide. She couldn't breathe. Finally she managed to catch her breath and jolted up, glaring at Lorelai. She lunged for her again, trying to grab her neck.

Lorelai got close to the ground and then dodged underneath Amu. She stood up again and smiled at them all "This has been fun." she chuckled before turning and running away. Shellie knew Amu would give chase and she quickly grabbed her arm as she watched Lorelai disappear

Shellie was right; Amu was getting ready to run after her when she grabbed her arm. Instead she glared at Lorelai's retreating figure until she could no longer hear her. Only then did she relax slighlty, though she was still practically shaking with anger.

"We should go home" Shellie said, the sun was going to rise soon. She wanted to chase after Lorelai but knew it wasn't worth it. Jason's arm's wrapped around her waist, as if he sensed she wished to give chase to the person she had given immortal life to and yet wanted to take it away.

Amu nodded. It took all of her willpower not to chase after Lorelai, but she knew she had to be back at the Manor in case Marcus came back. She turned and slowly began to walk back, not wanting to run.

Jason let go of Shellie's waist and grabbed her hand. The two walked beside Amu slowly, frowns on both their faces. Shellie looked up as the Manor came into view, Skylar was standing on the front porch, wondering where Amu had gone to.

Amu looked up as they approached the Manor. She smiled slightly and waved at Skylar, feeling kind of embarrased that she had just up and left on him. But she had been worried about Shellie. Her limbs were stiff and sore again, but she ignored it. No way would she be able to sleep after what had just happened. Her mind was racing again, adrenaline pumping through her veins.

Calm down, we are safe for now Shellie thought quickly, Amu was the only person she felt comfortable having a mind connections with, partly because even if Jason didn't mean to he started trying to control Shellie through them and that was exactly thrilling to her. Skylar walked down the steps of the house and looked at them all "Everyone okay?" he asked, his eyes scrutinizing every inch of Amu for any sign of injury.

"We're fine," Amu said quietly. She had her teeth clenched tightly together. Shellie's words, well thoughts, didn't exaclty comfort her. They may of been safe for now, but who was to say about later? There was Marcus and Lorelai now for her to worry about once more, and she wasn't sure how miuch more of this she could take.

Marcus poses no threat to us as long as Tina is part of our family Shellie thought quickly. She and Jason quickly walked inside, talking about their relationship and what the other had to give up for both to be happy.

"You sure?" Skylar asked as Shellie walked passed him "You seem unhappy" he had no clue what had happened, Shellie would have to fill him in eventually since he was her second.

'No threat to /us/, but what about her?' Amu thought. She watched as she and Jason walked inside. She lingered near the door by Skylar.

Sudden sounds of metal against metal could be heard. Eric had said someting that Marcus didn't like, and now he wanted to shut him up, for good.

Amu could hear the sounds perfectly. She looked at Skylar.

"I'll be back in a minute. I need to....clear my head," She mumbled, before turning and running towards the noise. She turned invisible on the way, and when she spotted Marcus and Eric she stopped in her tracks.

I will let no harm come to Tina as long as I can stop him. We have an extraordinary coven and when we all stand together we are not usually something you want to mess with Shellie stopped quickly when she heard the sound of clinking metal Should I worry? she asked Amu quickly.

Jason and Skylar looked around as they heard clinking metal.

"I'll be back boys" Shellie said quickly and she caught up to Amu.

Both swords were drawn. Marcus had a detrimed look in his eye while he fought Eric. They seemed evenly macthed.

Amu stood rooted in place, unsure if what to do. When Shellie's thoughts entered her mind she shook her head, though she couldn't see her.

'No, everything's fine,' she thought quickly. 'Don't worry about it. But don't come here.'

She watched the two men standing in front of her, debating weather to leave or help. Marcus seemed to be holding his own.

'Why would I want to help him?' she thought. But she knew why. 'For Tina.'

She watched them closely, ready to jump in if the need arose.
