At the Manor

"You swear what? Why do you care about him anyway? I never quite understood it. I mean Shellie hopes he will be happy but look how that turned out. She left him for a guy I asked to help me torture her. Last time I was here he seemed miserable, but then again I didn't see him really" Lorelai picked at her nail bed as she spoke. She looked outside "Looks like the sun will be down soon" she said to herself

Shellie picked her head up off of Jason and looked over his shoulder, he let her go and moved from her way "Nice to finally see you Lacey. Would you like to eat?" she asked her kindly with a small smile

Lacey stood at the bottom of the steps now. She looked down, for a moment, she was sooo hurngy. "Yes." She said looking up at Shellie. "Please, thank you." She said after a moment.

Amu continued to glare at her. What did she mean, he seemed miserable? The last time she was here....that had been a while ago. She glanced outside quickly before giving her one more glare and turning to Marcus.

"You should come with me to Blood Manor," She said quickly. "For Tina," She quickly added, looking somewhat pained.

"I was planing on that." He said said not looking up.

Shellie smiled and walked towards the kitchen, she opened the door revealing several baked goods and dinners on every counter and table. When she got stressed she cooked, it was unusual habit for a vampire but now she had to cook for her brother and his pack so it didn't seem so strange. "I don't know what Dhampir's prefer" she told her "But if you prefer food there is plenty of it" she had cooked almost everything in the house before she started pacing near the front door

"Good," Was all Amu mumbled before continuing her pacing. She looked outside at the setting sun, as if willing it to go faster. As soon as it was safe she wanted to get out of here. She didn't like small spaces, and liked them much less when they involved Marcus and Lorelai.

Lacey nodded and stepped in. Her eyes widened. "Thats alot of food." She said. She picked up a cookie and bit into it. She looked around again suddenly not sure what she wanted to eat. She kept with eating cookies, for the moment.

15 mintues left. It was this time of day that was hardest on Marcus, he really didn't like to wait. And this time just before the sunset always seemed longer.

"I like to cook," Shellie told her, "I know, it's weird for someone who doesn't eat" She then looked out the window, watching the sun, the slowest part of the day was now literally killing her.

Jason followed them into the kitchen and wrapped his arms around Shellie, watching the sun with her

Skylar and the Lycan's still lay sleeping in the living room

Amu briefly wondered how Shellie was doing. She paused in her pacing, letting out a small sigh. She felt bad about their 'argument', and how she had taken off. And then hadn't come back. She hoped they weren't worried.

She glanced out the window and saw they still had about 15 minutes left, and let out a groan, banging a fist against the door.

Lacey nodded, and eat some more. "Some people have werid hobbies." She said simply. "James, someone from the coven I come from, painted pictures of a beach at high noon, althrough he can't go out in to the sun." She said. She finally sat down with some kind of pie and began eatting it.

Marcus sat boredly.

"That too is strange" Shellie muttered. The sun was driving her crazy by now. She moved away from Jason and walked out of the kitchen. "I'll be back!" she yelled through the house. She grabbed the keys to the car with tinted windows and walked to the garage. The sound of a speeding car could be heard screeching around the corner and down the street.

Shellie reached out with her mind as she drove further and further away from the Manor, hoping she was going in the right direction, she was using what she saw in Amu's head before she had fallen asleep.

Amu was staring out the window. As soon as the sun was gone and dusk hit the earth she was outside. She didn't bother to wait for Marcus as she took off running, though not as fast as she could. She was lingering a bit behind for him, though she didn't know why.

Shellie had ditched the car when the sun came down and reached the point Amu had before Shellie had drifted into sleep. She opened her mind and faintly felt Amu, a smile across her face as she took to the trees and headed towards her

Marcus was behind amu a few seconds later.

Amu could feel Marcus following her and ran faster. She heard someone else running towards her and tensed up, wondering who it was.

Shellie felt Marcus as well and tensed up immediately, not moving a muscle. She then remember the promise she had made to Tina about being fine with it and unfroze. She however turned back around and went back to the Manor as fast as she could.

Lorelai watched them go, she turned the other way and ran to no where in particular

Amu felt somewhat safer when she realized Lorelai wasn't following them. But Marcus /was/ so she didn't feel very safe. She picked up the pace, following after whoever had been heading towards her moments before. She couldn't tell who it was; she could just hear their footsteps.

"Slow yourself women, I need time to prepare just in case Marcus pulls something" Shellie said as she jumped through trees, she landed on the ground and ran some before taking to the trees again. She hoped Amu could hear her voice too

Marcus kept running, speeding up, slightly.

'He won't,' Amu felt herself surprised to think after she heard Shellie. 'He's here....for Tina, and that's it,' she thought, her face impassive though inside she was screaming. She continued to run, trying to keep ahead of Marcus but still slow enough to please Shellie as she waited for a response of some sort.

"Have you not learned I like to be prepared? I'm a mind reader not a physic" she picked up her pace slightly until their were no trees for her to jump through. She landed on the ground and ran back towards the Manor

Nothing was going through his mind as he went faster.

Amu frowned.

'How do you expect me to slow him down??' she thought. Without thinking she suddenly stopped in front of him, going from a fast pace to a standsill in seconds, right in his path.

"Sorry I can't be as fast on foot but agility is my thing not strength, that is why I jump from tree branch to tree branch" Shellie said quickly, she could see the Manor and ran faster

The sudden stop surpised him and he fell on top of her. He quickly stood up. "What's your problem?" He asked. "Fine, if you don't want to come stay here." HE said running off again.
