At the Manor

Amu stepped up to the house, and looked at Yukiko, giving her a quick nod. She didn't seem to see her, however, her ears perked up to hear better. She looked almost menacing, standing defensively, a white wolf protecting her home. But Amu knew better.

She looked at Tina, debating on weather she should say something or not. She quickly decided against it, and instead looked at Shellie, giving her a quick nod. "I'll listen," She said simply, and then silence fell again. She strained her ears to hear farther than she normally would, which was pretty far to begin with.

Yumi stood next to Yukiko. "what's going on?", she asked her.

Mark ran outside. He didn't want to just sit by and not know what was going on, he wanted to help with whatever was going on.

Emma stood infront of the Lycan Manor and looked aorund.

"Jacob wants to take over the Manor, since Lucien and Rayne are gone," She said. "He's on his way here now, along with another wolf that I don't recognize." Bree had run outside after Mark in time to hear her.

"Gone??" She asked. Yukiko turned to look at her, and saw the tears. She flinched, then looked back towards the woods. She had to focus.

"Bree, go back inside," She said quietly.

"No! I'm sick of being left out of everything just because I'm young!! I've seen more than anyone my age, and you know that!!"

"Not now, Bree, plese," Yukiko said quietly, but Bree didn't seem to hear her, and if she did, she ignored her.

Amu frowned at the exchange between the two. Now was not the best time to be arguing. She struggled to hear anything in the woods still.

Yumi nodded and knealed down next to Bree and pu ta hand on her shoulder. "I know it's hard to just sit back not be able to do anything, but we don't want you or Mark to get hurt", she said softly.

Mark shook his head. "I'm staying I don't wan t to just watch anymore", he said.

"I don't care what either of you do just please remain silent." Shellie asked gravely. She was stretching her mental boundary as far as you could, requiring much more concentration then her powers normally called for. The bickering was making it difficult for her to do so.

Jason and Skylar walked to stand near the forest edge, Skylar's hands heating up rapidly and Jason's were now covered in icicles. "Say when Shell" Skylar called as they waited.

Bree shook her hand off, shaking her head, tears in her eyes. "I'm sick of just watching from the sidelines. I'm not going back inside."

Yukiko sighed. She knew that tone of voice. There was no arguing with her now. "Be careful," Was all she said, before tensing up again and keeping her eyes on the woods.

Amu was glad that they were finally done arguing, or so it seemed.

"I...I don't hear anything," Amu said slowly, sounding somewhat confused. Hadn't they been close? At least, that was how it had seemed when she saw Yukiko.

Jake had stopped running, staying away from his sister's mental boundaries. "Wait until she drains herself" he said.

Shellie located them on the edge of her rim, she couldn't hear them but she knew they were there. "They are further away then I thought." she said as she pulled her mental boundary closer in.

((Going to bed now. Night!))

Arthur said nothing, but came to a stop a few feet away.

Amu nodded. She faintly heard a voice, but couldn't make out what they were saying.

Yukiko was still tensed up. She was looking around the entrance to the forest.

Shellie suddenly grew weak, her head began to feel like it was spinning, her eyes had a glazed over look. And then she fell to the ground.

"Shellie!" Skylar shouted as he turned to see her hit the porch. He ran back to the house.

"Shell!" Jason shouted and he ran by his side. He was quickly on the floor once they reached her to see her eyes go dark and then shut. He watched the steady movement of her chest to reassure himself that she would be okay but his worry for her wouldn't go away. He looked down at his mate, wondering how they would stop Jake without her.

Jake's ears twitched as he heard shouting and he smiled. "Be silent" he said before running again, being as silent as he could.

Arthur followed, only staying a few feet behind, staying as quiet as possiable.

Amu's eyes widened when Shellie fell, but Jason went over to her, and she forced herself to stay in her place, listening. She had to do something, and Jason was helping Shellie.

She listened as hard as she could, but still no sound reached her ears. Either they were being very careful, or something was wrong.

Yukiko, on the other hand, was growling at the entrance of the woods. She held her ground, though she too was worried about Shellie. She was ready to rip Jake and anyone else limb from limb.

Bree ran over to Shellie and Jason, tears in her eyes.

"Is she okay??" She asked, kneeling down next to her next to him.

"I'm not sure." Jason said, trying to hink back to the last time she ate. He came to a blank and frowned.

Skylar looked down at Shellie once more before running back to his former position by the forest.

Jacob was getting closer still as quiet as he could be.

Tina wacthed quietly. She was worried about Shellie, but thought she sould stay out of the way.

Arthur was just as silent.

Amu heard the crack of a twig in the woods, and she turned towards the direction it had come from, tensing up.

Yukiko saw this and stepped closer to where she was facing, every muscle in her body tense and ready to spring.

Bree was close to tears by now.

Jason leapt up from Shellie, knowing her efforts to save Lycan Manor from Jacob would be ruined if he didn't focus as well. He picked her body up and set her gently sitting against a wall before rejoining them all. His hands forming icicles on them.

Skylar's hands heated up quickly. He faced the forest and watched carefully.

Jake slowed down as he reached them, able to see him from his spot hidden in a bush but was hidden from their view.

Arthur stood a little ways behind him.

Amu soon grew impatient. Who did Jake think he was, to be able to do this?? She wouldn't let him. She simply wouldn't let him.

Yukiko let out a low, meancing growl that made even Bree flinch.

Jake smiled as he circled around to another opening in the woods silently.

Arthur cirlced around another way.

Amu heard his footsteps; he was close enough now. She heard them going in two separate directions.

"They're coming both ways," She warned them, and stepped to the side that Jake was headed to. Yukiko nodded and walked towards where Arthur was, taking her stance in front of the woods again, looking positively frightening and menacing.

Bree was still looking at Shellie, worried.

"Bree, don't worry about her!" Jason shouted as he saw the girl worrying. "Focus on this or go back inside!" he then followed Yukiko around.

Skylar followed Amu slowly.

Jacob smiled as they followed them. He had a plan and they were going for it.

Yumi changed into her wolf form and followed Yukiko in case she needed help.

Mark changed into his wolf form as well but stayed next o Bree still.

Arthur had no plan, he would just follow Jacob's lead.
